About HCl Fixed Gas Detector (Hydrogen Chloride)

Introduction:

The FGD-X is a Microcontroller-based Gas leak detector for detecting Flammable Gas Hazards, Toxic Gas Hazards and Asphyxiant (Oxygen Deficiency) Hazards. It is a Single Point Wall Mounted Instrument work on 220 VAC main supply and has a sensor fitted at the end of a cable. They use an IP 55 enclosure for the electronics as standard.

Applications:
They are used for continuous surveillance single point monitoring the Hydrogen Chloride gas in workplaces or enclosed spaces in hazardous, explosive or toxic gas conditions & environments. The parameter for measuring would be CO₂ with Range of 0-30 ppm and Resolution of 1 ppm.

Features:

·        Two Alarms, audible and visual (separate LEDs + alerts on display), along with inhibit, acknowledge and reset options.

·        Alarms are settable as manual or auto reset type (Latching or non-latching)

·         Two potential free relay contacts for external use.

·        Separate Confidence flash LED to know that equipment is working properly.

·        4 switch operation using Magnetic Pen (contact-less operation).

·        Data Outputs (Optional): Modbus RS485, 4-20 mA.
